Description:
Advocacy campaign/workshop (priority will be given to the use of local languages of the village). Establish a Community computer training center. Participate in Media outreach. Package a Multimedia Toolkit of all project activities.
Objectives:

- Creating a data base of all participants. - Evaluating their previous levels of ICT4D awareness and involvement- Profiting initiators and founders of this project. - Analyzing success and failure factors. - Selecting participants at random from women, children and youths for the first phase of ICT training. - Compiling best practices/lessons learned to benefit rural oriented ICTUD projects. - Train and equip the participants with ICT skills for their daily living, place of work or study. - Issue certificates to successful participants to enable them seek for employment or practice on their own. - Retain some of the most successful participants to assists in the training center. - Make a detailed report on the six months training session that can be shared with stakeholders. - Prepare questionnaire for trainees to complete in order to evaluate success made. - Major publicity for what young people are doing in rural areas and what they will do after that. - Major focus on rural youths, their challenges and their potentials. - Advocating support for youth led efforts within the information Society
- A one stop toolkit that showcases the best of this youth – led rural project. - A replicable material that can be shared with major stake-holders for viewing at their own time. - 3 CDS to be produced and sent to sponsors.
