YCI's Volunteer Action Network
Objectives:
Youth Challenge International-Volunteer Action Network in Food Security, is a space where we can discuss issues of food access, the sustainable production of food,developing nation's growing dependency on foreign import of foods, and the human rights of farmers in rural areas. This space is also open for those interested in addressing food security issues in their own local community such as school, neighbourhood, and regions. It is possible to find alternative methods of food production and consumption. Moreover, it is important that healthy food is affordable and accesible for the general population.
