I am happy to announce that on 21st June 2008 Can With Candle and Culture Venture will be coordinating the largest simultaneous walk all across the planet.
The walks at each location will be 1 kilometre long. We are currently looking for volunteers to take part in organising the walks.
The walk will signify the healh benefits of walking and the importance of friendship between people as we live our lives.
The current Guinness Book of World Record for largest simultaneous walk is 77,500. We aim to have at least 1 million people walking together at the same time in locations spread throughout the habitable areas of the planet Earth. So, alltogether we will be walking one million kilometres between us! Our Guinness Book Claim ID is 197912.
