Unite For Sight Nigeria projects hopes to empower communities in Nigeria to improve their knowledge on their eye health and with the idea to eliminate preventable blindness through Vision and Health Education Programmes and vision screening.
Background:
Unite For Sight Inc is a nonprofit based in the US which provided thr background for our activities in Nigeria, Unite For Sight Nigerian Project aims to replicate the activities of the Unite for Sight Inc to improve eye health and development.
Objectives:
Vision education programs are held in conjunction with vision screening exercises to enhance the value of people's vision and sight. Local and visiting volunteers work with partner eye clinics to provide eye care in communities without previous access, with the goal of creating eye disease-free communities. Additionally, vision screening and education programs are implemented worldwide by volunteers working in ninety chapters
