Project page for CLC-West Africa: http://projects.takingitglobal.org/clcwa - Next step to take in getting CLCWA-TIGed collaborations off the ground: 1- American/Canadian teachers and students go over the African classroom profiles and checklists. 2- They manifest interest in one class and ask to be put in contact 3- Teachers and project leaders develop guidelines and processes 4- Students get involved and the collaboration is initiated - Germinating collaborative projects so far: * Jessica's One World Youth Project: http://www.oneworldyouthproject.org/ * Simcoe County District School Board - TIGed - CLCWA - IEARN:::: The school board has allocated CLCWA and IEARN in Sierra Leone with funds that will be used to support classroom and organization with ICT connectivity. - Other parties looking for a match: *Vicky & Julie's Horizon project: http://horizonproject2008.wikispaces.com : still searching expertise and an African classroom *the 5 national CLCWA teams: Classrooms are recruited, information was gathered, only left the American side of the collaboration to manifest themselves.
