Description:
As you may be aware, in September 2001 the member states of the United Nations unanimously adopted a resolution to establish the UN International Day of Peace, a day of global ceasefire and non-violence, 21 September annually. ,Our plans are to organize a multimedia art Event In Macedonia with commitment for Peace One Day on public level. The organization who will arange this event are NGO Art studio Macedonia
Background:
NGO Art Studio project is using the universal language of art to help bridge differences by learning to see value in them. From January 2006 NGO Art Studio receive a support from IMAF imaf.li
For the Event NGO Arts Studio will provide a volunteer group of artist who will participate in the event. During the period of 8 years we faced challenges for coalition building across communities, involve youths who are underprivileged to take actions, as well to awake awareness about importance of the issues as peace, traditions, tolerance, and education.
Objectives:
It is significantly more cost-effective than traditional approaches because it addresses a national condition on a community basis, employing sustainable strategies that rely on suistanable partnerships for develoment. As an intervention, it also overlaps to operate as a preventive strategy that has a positive impact on civic society sectors, improves community awarness, and decreases multicultural tolerance.
Milestones:
The event will be open with exhibition in gallery in Skopje Tthe art works will be dedicated to the ideal of Peace and will show that arts are universal languane of the global comunity..
