Description:
As you know after devasting earthquake in Kashmir, Pakistan 100000 people died, 80000 injured and 3 million were homeless. minus 10 is temperature and all mountains are full of snow. Women whose husbands died, girls whose parents died; having no shelter, no education to earn, no skill to do job. So we are designing a project to arrange a place in Islamabad/ Rawlapindi and provide sewing machines, embroidery machines and raw material. Technical girls for training and shelter plus food and clothes.
Hand made dresses, shawls and other stuff would be sold in US, Uk and other countries and income would go directly to these homeless women.
Background:
Hundreds of schools, colleges have collapsed in earthquake in Kashmir. No setup of education for Kashmiri girls. Most of girls are injured with broken legs, arms, hands. They can not earn their livings.
Objectives:
To provide shelter, skills and employment in a respectful manner.
To provide health facilities
To provide food
Budget:
Initial budget would be about $2000 to $3000 for first six months.
We need immediate help of money starting from $5, from whole world. We have already collected $500 to start the work. We are providing food and second-hand clothes and health to these women. We will be needed sewing machines and embroidery machines.
Needs:
Place for smaller setup for sewing.
Donations of about $2000.
US/UK Market for sale of dresses and other stuff.
