Project:
Australian 15+ Import Rules

About  About
Title: Australian 15+ Import Rules
Location: Global
Status: Completed
Timeline: Ongoing
Categories: Good Governance

Description:
The Australian Department of Transportation and Regional Services (DOTAR) are trying to raise trade barriers on cars more than 15 years old, and is using some ridiculous arguments to do it, which are at best poorly researched, and at worst deliberately misleading - e.g. it deliberately doesn't mention that Japan has had BETTER Emmission Controls on cars SINCE 1978 than Australia has today.
