www.millenniumcampaign.org
This is the official website of the Millennium Campaign which you should check once in a while to see what's happening around the world and especially in our region in terms of lobbying for the MDGs.
www.millenniumcampaign.org/youth
This is the UN Cyberschoolbus site on the MDGs. The site is dedicated to young people. We in the Group have the possibility to solicit and write articles to publish on this site!
www.developmentgoals.org
This is the official website of the World Bank Group on the MDGs and gives a lot of statistical data on how single countries and regions are doing so far (so check out what is most important for your country/region!).
http://www.un.org/millenniumgoals/
This is the official website of the UN on the MDGs. It's available in all six UN languages.
http://www.unmillenniumproject.org/
This is the website of the UN Millennium Project. What is the Millennium Project? The UN Millennium Project is an independent advisory body commissioned by the UN Secretary-General to advise the UN on strategies for achieving the Millennium Development Goals. The MP is headed by Professor Jeffrey Sachs and gives policy recommendations based on research which is performed by development experts through 10 Task Forces.

"Investing in Development: A practical plan to achieve the Millennium Development Goals" is the latest report presented by the Millennium Project to the UN Secretary General on January 17. It describes how to achieve the MDGs by giving concrete policy recommendations. It also gives an overview of how regions are performing so far.

Over the last year a group of young people from different organizations around the world has put together this paper on Youth and the MDGs. The paper is still to be finalized, but it already plays a very important role as youth input to the work of the Millennium Project. So please make sure to read the document!!
TakingITGlobal is working closely together with the group of people who drafted the paper and I met most of them last week in New York. I will surely come back to you with more information about the document, because it is absolutely necessary for your work to know it! Also, have a look at the best practices that are mentioned in the paper and see if you might want to contact some of the organizations to write about what they are doing!
www.whiteband.org
This is the website of the Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP). GCAP is a world-wide alliance of Civil Society Organizations and Individuals committed to the
MDGs and their achievement. The Millennium Campaign is working closely together with GCAP and it's very important for you to know about it! GCAP has also national focal points and some of them have created their own websites, so have a look if you can join them - and get yourself a white band to show your support of the campaign! A buddy of mine, Franziska from TIG, has already seen quite a
couple of people at the UN in New York wearing white bands and I'm currently looking into the possibility to creating some with the TIG logo on them. But even without having official TIG white bands, it's a great idea which we
should all support!
