Dear members of the project:
As you know by an email I sent you months ago, some members of the group decided to prepare a call for photos looking for an ordered and fair participation. We were working on it with the help of a photography specialist.
However, the economical support that was offered to us by a governmental youth institution is no longer available.
Due to this and that it is difficult to have a strong participation of youths, specifically in an international environment, we have decided to undefinitely pospone the project.
My gratitude to all of you that had an active participation.

The project is moving forward and there are some news: because the project is not just as simple as to get together some photos, some decisions have been made.
Mariana Ballestero and I have been discussing the process of material selection, the pertinence of a call, and the support of a person that act as a consultant for the process of the project regarding the quality of images, the rules, etc.
The photographic adviser will help us to determine the standards of quality and I am waiting the answer of some professional people here in Mexico to be judges.
The adviser is Víctor Dávila, a Mexican graduated from Sciences of Communication, and now finishing his studies in Cinema with a specialty in photography.
So, there will be a Call for the project, and I hope that it be ready in two or three weeks. Once it is ready, the members will promote it in the place you are living and with your friends and networks.

We are finishing the agenda for the call, the evaluation process and the timeline for collecting material and publihing.

1) Opening invitations to TIG community to participate, specially those members that are interested on photography.
The project is going to be modified according to the proposals of members.
At least, the little discussions that have been held are about to change the topic to 'Youth in Latin-America' and 'Child Labour in the World'.
We want to publish the photos on a book, it is, doing a photography compilation and offering it to a publisher. The intention is to make photoessays of the selected topic in a way that with a solely image we can transmit a message of several realities...
Depending of the images and their quality, we must discuss the convenience or not of adding mini essays.
Every future participant is aimed to arrange their copyrigths of their works, for future royalties in case we find a publisher.
