Description:
The 3rd Jordanian Youth Forum 2002 will bring together Jordanian youth aged 18-32 who are active in voluntary work and interested in working with youth. This 3rd forum; set as a continuity of the efforts to understand youth as a group (first forum), promote participation as a natural choice for contributing to the community and using the Internet to do so (second forum), this forum not only encourages the participants to come-up with projects that are relevant to their needs but also helps them to connect with people or organizations who can support them in this endeavor.
The theme for this year
Objectives:
1-Promote voluntary work amongst youth optimizing defferent channels to deliver the message, channels such as:
a) The Internet:
i. Through the Jordan Youth Website to be
launched soon.
ii. Through the Jordan Development Network.
iii. Other global youth websites like Taking IT
Global.
b) The Forum.
c) Higher Council of Youth.]
2. Train youth to effectively perform their voluntary duties. In addition to being able to work independently on skill improvement to match the local project's needs.
3. Connect all the possible stake-holders involved in youth related projects together under one roof to exchange ideas and skills
