sign petition for unconditional release
Hello all, some of you may know about my people current situation already from the flyers we passed out at the U.N on the May convictions of our 5 Khmer-Krom monks to prison for their religious freedom demonstration in Vietnam.
But there is also another case that happen late June after our meeting at U.N. A Cambodian monk of Khmer-Krom descent was disrobed and deported to be tried in Vietnam and is currently serving jail time without communications. In response to this, our people across the world have held a global demonstration, which took places in Cambodia, France, USA, and Australia for his release.
Our youth created a petition online to call for release and safe return of this monk to Cambodia. Please give us your support by signing the petition calling for unconditional release of the Abbot Tim Sakhorn and the rest of the monks still in prison. Please call for Vietnam to respect the rights of Khmer-Krom peoples. Read the petition and you will get more detail about the Venerable's case.
