Description:
Hand In Hand is a student organization at the American University in Cairo. It aims at involving students in community service activities, especially in the domain of elders. The strategic goal to be reached by the organization in 2006, is the establishment of a new elders' dorms for about 20 widow poor elders.
Objectives:
The tactic goals of the project is to collect some data from the district of Masr El-Qadima, or Old Cairo, in order to pick up the cases that are most conforming to the organization's specifications.
The next step is to allocate an apartment, altogether with every kind of essential services required for an elders' dorm; doctors, nurses, maids, furniture, sewage, clothes, nutrition, electricity, security, etc........
Needs:
We need funds from any interesed individual/association/student bodies/etc..., as well as anyone who would like to help us achieve the project goals by any suitable means.
