Advertising against advertising contest

Hello Guys!
This is a nice project and i love it .. mmmm well.. ....
I was just thinking about the possiblity of creating a universal contest under teh theme ( Advertising against Tobacco advertising).. We can run such competition in differnt countries around the world through us as agents of change in our countries and then travel as a team from one country to another and announce the winner. Then take him/her with us and go to the next counrty and so on ....could be around 14 countries in 14 days ( hectic yet inspiring). We can call it "faster than ads smoke"

i guess with some adaptation to my intitial thread we can do an astonishing work .
what do you think ?
if you think this is a good idea then just let me know . i want to count the voices and if it is acceptable then i can advise about the mechanisim of the work so that we can proceed after discussing with the project owner .

YES GUY ALL WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS CORRECT AND I BELEIVE THIS CAN HELP MAJORITY OF PEOLPLE TO QUITE SMOKING SINCE MANY OF THE PEOLPLE WHO SMOKE DOES NOT KNOW THE IMPLICATION OF SMOKING ESPECIALLY IN MY COUNTRY HERE WHERE THE YOUTH TAKE SMOKING AS A FUNCTION. I WILL BE VERY MUCH HAPPY IF THIS ADVOCACY COMES ON AND ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS ABLE TO REACH MY COUNTRY.

good to hear about your enthusiasim edward, why do not we start working on spreading this idea out , and see what we can do then after ..
i will start directing some people i know to this post and hope they will get interested after knowing about this initiative

yes !!!
this is really a superb idea!!!!
i think it really has the capacity to attract the youth.
the idea of competition might atleast spur them on to investigate about the harmful affects the tobacco products.
with a little bit of brain storming on how ,when and where to get started this campaign has the potential make a difference in many lives.

I agree,this is a great approach,especially in having a competition which includes our youths.Lets begin brainstorming towrds setting this up and making this a reality.After all we have to begin somewhere.I personally can offer assistance for here within Australia the huge Anti-Smoking Company consisting of youths,and people from all walks of life regardless of position or status have succeeded in curtailing these Giant Tobacco Companies,and have very strict Laws regarding "Making Australia" A cigarrett free country,not wholly foolproof as yet,but the Laws have helped greatly,We even have Graphic Television advertising from the AMA Australian Medical Association,from many leading-well known Medical Surgeons,showing the many effects tobacco causes,with a very strong message that if you did not smoke you would not be having to undergo a particular medical treatment.My fav add is an excited teenage girl,visiting hospital with her mum,to see her dad just to share with him the wonderful excitement of winning a school sport competition,the catch phrase really Impacts.A young teenage boy has to have his feet amputated because of the effects of smoking,with the Surgeon clearly telling him "if you had never began smoking,you would still have your feet,and continued to be a very promising upcoming footballer."Sorry Lad,but you will Never be able to play football again",even if we can begin with a compition around the globe many young people will begin to think about the effects of smoking and how they may as well be playing Russian Roulett with their lives in regards to their health & Wellbeing.Willing to assist in any brainstorming ideas to get something like this happening.We have to begin somewhere,I cannot think of a better idea.Well done!!!
