Hi all. I am pleased to announce that in collaboration with the Ministry of Small and Medium Enteprises the Zim YES team has started a series of workshops with rural youth. The first workshop was held two weeks ago in Lupane. Here we heard all the challenges that young people are facing to make themselves economically active. One os the postive outcomes of this owrkshop was that we are now working closely woth a group pof young women from Lupane to establish a phone shop. They have already submitted a project proposal which we are editing then sending out to potential donors. If anyone in the netowrk knows any institutions that moght be keen on funding something like this, please get hold of me on 011 864 984. We plan to hold similar workshops throughout the country and will inform you all in due course. Best regards. Memezi
