Description:
Essentially, the YES Country Network Austria is the first YES Country Network in Central-, Eastern- and Southeastern Europe. Therefore UNYSA-AUSTRIA - AFA considers this as an even more special challenge when building up its country network in Austria.
Objectives:
The basic goal and with that the first phase in the implementation of the country network is the evaluation of the current situation in Austria and the initiatives being taken. By doing so UNYSA-AUSTRIA - AFA is trying to collect and summarize the different initiatives of governmental institutions but also of the private sector.
Since Austria is still in a rather good position when it comes to programs fighting youth unemployment, UNYSA-AUSTRIA - AFA tends to collect Best Practices and strategies from Austria. Consequently, the YES Country Network Austria should comprise a database of these best practices. This database should then help young people in Central-, Eastern and Southeastern Europe to develop their strategies when trying to lobby for their interests in their countries and possibly building up their YES Country Networks in their respective countries.
