Description:
The project seeks to increase the level of national awareness on the WSIS, the national campaign team and the campaign, and bring ICT and the youth information society to mainstream of public discussion and opinion. The plans aims at eliciting views and opinions through an hour radio discussion and phone-in programme to be broadcast by the two major radio stations in the country, and bringing together stakeholders in the youth information society to discuss, exchange and collate views and opinions into a national declaration at a national workshop / interactive forum.
Objectives:
* To raise national awareness on the up-coming WSIS and the National Youth Campaign.
* Creating a National Youth Declaration
* To help strengthen youth-led initiatives to create digital opportunity locally
