Description:
This Operations Research is funded by the Global Fund Round 5 under the principal recepiency of the Tropical Disease Foundation. The grant is awarded to the Kabataang Gabay sa Positibong Pamumuhay (KGPP), Inc. a youth-led NGO working with most-at-risk children and youth.

The study is in collaboration with the West VIsayas State University and in cooperation with five local NGOs, namely, (1) Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement or PRRM in Manila, (2) Free Rehabilitation, Economic, Education and Legal Assistance Volunteers Association, Inc. or FREELAVA for Cebu City, (3) Kabataang Gabay sa Positibong Pamumuhay (KGPP), Inc. for Iloilo City, (4) Human Development and Empowerment Services or HDES for Zamboanga City, and (5) Wo/Men’s Access to Vital Education and Services Int’l or W AVES for Davao City.

Objectives:
The main objective of this operations research is to determine street children's degree of vulnerability and levels of risk to HIV among street children 7-17 years old in five 5 highly urbanized cities in the Philippines namely, Cities of Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, Zamboanga and Davao.
