Description:
SPEAK Nigeria is the Nigerian platform for SPEAK Africa Programme of UNICEF. The initiative in Nigeria is cordinated by Development Generation Africa International (DGAi) and the objectives are captured in the acronym: BAT
* Building bridges between youth and stakeholders
* Amplify voices of Nigerian youth through arts, competition and media
* Trigger a movement for change and development for the achievement of the MDGs.
Background:
SPEAK Nigeria is a platform created to fill gaps in communication between youths and stakeholder.
Nigerian youths are creative and energetic resources that must be cultivated. That is the platform that SPEAK Nigeria aims to creat. A place where youth can speak, be listened and be heard in Nigeria and beyond.
Objectives:
* Building bridges between youth and stakeholders
* Amplify voices of Nigerian youth through arts, competition and media
* Trigger a movement for change and development for the achievement of the MDGs.
