بازآ باز آ هر آنچه هستی باز آ
گر کافر و گبر و بت پرستی باز آ
این درگه ما در گه نا امیدی نیست
صد بار اگر توبه شکستی باز آ
"Come! Come again! Whoever, whatever you may be, come!
Heathen, idolatrous or fire worshipper come!
Even if you deny your oaths a hundred times come!
Our door is the door of hope come! Come like you are!"

علمی که ترا گره کشاید بطلب
زان پیش که از توچان برآید بطلب
آن نیست که هست مینماید بگزار
آن هست که نسیت مینماید بطلب
Seek the science that unties for you this knot.
Seek it as long as there's life in you still to be sought.
Leave that nothing that looks like it's something;
Seek that something that looks like it's nothing. It's not.

من محو خدایم و خدا آن منست
هر سویش مجوۀید که در جان منست
سلطان منم و غلط نمایم به شما
گویم که کسی هست که سلطان منست
I am lost in God, and God is found in me.
Why look in all directions? Look inside.
I am the Lord, and I do you wrong to say
That anyone is Lord or God to me.

روزی که مرا عشق تو دیوانه کند
دیوانگی کنم که دیو آن نکند
حکم مژهً تو آن کند با دل من
کز نوک قلم خواجه دیوان نکند
When your love drives me crazy, that day
I dare things, madly, that demons would not.
Your eyelash alone does to my heart
What the brush of the greatest artist cannot.

East nor West, Land nor Sea, is my home; I have kin nor with angel nor gnome;
I am wrought not or fire nor of foam, I am shaped not of dust or des.
I was born not in China afar, not in Sagsin not in Bulghar;
Not in India, where five rivers are, nor Iraq nor Khorasan i grew.
Not in this world nor that would i dwell, not in paradise neither in Hell;
Not from Eden and Rizwan ifell, not from Adam my lineage I drew.
In a Place beyond uttermost place, in a tract without shadow or trace,
Soul and body transcending I live in the soul of my loved one anew!
(Rumi)
نه شرقییم، نه غربییم نه بییم، نه بحرییم
نه از کان طبیعیم، نه از افلاک گردانم
نه از خاکم، نه از آبم، نه از بادم، نه از آتش
نه از عرشم، نه از فرشم، نه از کونم، نه از کانم
نه از هندم، نه از چینم، نه از بلغار و صقسینم
نه از ملک عراقینم نه از خاک خراسانم
نه از دنیی، نه ازعقبی، نه از جنت، نه از دوزخ
نه از آدم، نه از حوا، نه از فردوس رضوانم
مکانم لا مکان باشد، نشانم بی نشان باشد
