We start a series of Courses
in some local schools in Shanghai,China.
*Group Games
We initiate some group games to help create ideas of teamwork among kids. Drawing the kids` attention to our event in the method of their active participation into it.
The kinds of games:
*DIY and Puppy Show
First we make puppies with the kids, using the materials like wastepaper, cola bottles and paperboards. Introduce the ideas of reusing, which is basic in the theory of sustainable living, to the young generation.
Then kids will be promoted to make a puppies show under the theme of environmental protection. In this way, kids will have a clear idea of the theme.
*Visual Art Course
We would like to introduce some films or show newsreels under the theme of environmental protection or sustainable living to the kids.
Make a DV show of the kids about their understanding and request during and after our courses to see the change of mind of them. As a record of our cause, the DV will be sent to our overseas partners and exchange experiences with them.
*Overseas Pen Pal
Kids are encouraged to put what they think after the courses into paper. And we will help mail the letters to their peers in other countries so that they can make pen pals with kids of different culture background.
*Self Promotion
In our promotion, kids with certain capability can help solve the environmental problems around them in the method of making hands-on project in their summer vacation to get involved into the environmental management in their community.
