About my local area and other stuff

Well am from Ghana, and am staying in the capital city. we are cited at the coastal region of africa, with a lott of beaches. Our major exports are Cocoa and Gold. And there is lot to see in terms of tourism.
The slave trade took place in Ghana and we were colonized by the british. So you get to see a lot of castle's and dungeons where the slave were locked and turtured.
Our currency is the cedi and is represented by the symbol (¢). Ghana is also known as the gate way to Africa and our national flag has three major colors and a star in the middle. The colors are Red, Gold, Green and a Black star in the middle.
Well my locality has numerous problems like HIV/AIDS, Malaria, STD's just to metion a few. And this diseases keeps killing a large number of people, especially the youth in the country who tend to be the work force of the country.
Even though education is going ground the country, we still have problems with this diseases because people give an unconcerned attitude to the educations, so they keep dying every now and then.
We should have a focus and always try to be vigillant in all we do and make sure those who are ignorant are educated, and the less privillaged ones be giving the opportunities they deserve so they could perform.
Everyone has to be part of the educating, and every neccessary talk show that will help in eradicating all this problem the communities are facing or the youth.

Thanks for your post.Your country faces what seems an insurrmountable problem,I agree with your comments,I have just joined myself and I feel someone should at least recognise and accknoledge that you are being botherred to actually partake in Mission One.Perhaps it is because many don't know what to say or how to reply back to you in regards to your local area and stuff.?However these same social issues will keep popping up no-matter what!These are grave issues facing us all,individually,within our respective Countries.Seems to me we have a broad Social problem many would love to sweep under the carpet-so-to-say,but one which really needs huge Social Change.
