It is done – the theme of the ISWI 2009 is created!

After reviewing all the proposals and lots of discussion the ISWI-Org-Team proudly presents the topic of the ISWI 2009:

"Human Rights"

Let us explain the idea:

In December 2007 we asked you to send us your proposals for the topic of the ISWI 2009. We received a lot of great ideas.

After analysing them we came to the conclusion that we can combine all the ideas into one main topic. We realised that all of your proposals were focused on basic human rights e.g. the right to be different from each others, the right to have an own culture or the right to have a healthy life in a healthy environment or the right to live in freedom without any war or the right to have an education and so on.

There is a declaration of the Human Rights, which was signed by many of the nations of this world. But what about its realisation? Day-to-day, human rights are violated, abused – also in western countries.

What can we do to enforce the Declaration of Human Rights in all parts of the world? This is the question for the ISWI 2009. As you can see, there is a lot of work to do!
