It’s been almost a year now since we started thinking of The INNER-CIRCLE ORGANIZATION and it finally come to a point where we can say we have started this very long journey. I say this because recently after a successful peer education training in which 7 of the 11 members of ICO went through and the remaining 4 were trainees of the 7. Now that not being the end of it, I Choose Life –Africa which was the peer education trainer asked the trainees to form Behavioral Change Communication Groups within the campus and we were glad to take up the challenge and presented our concept paper and were given a chance to work with 7 other groups. This is a step in the right direction and will then help us capacity build towards our goal. And with that we came up with the acronym the V.O.I.C.E campaign:
Vision, Organization, Integrity, Care/Concern, Enlightened this is what ICO will endeavor to cultivate i.e. to create a community of students with a Vision for their life and their community; who are Organized and have their thoughts planned out and stand for Integrity and have Care and Concern for themselves and those around them and are Enlightened; that is they make informed choices
