Half the year has already gone by. We're taking to the streets with our message about real sex education. Our coalition partners have been promoting our campaign and web site by taking petitions into parks, community events and county fairs. We've been giving away stickers with the slogan "Real Sex Ed Saves Lives" and our web address. We're heading to the March for Women's Lives, New York City with signs of the same design. Most importantly, we're talking to people. we have over 40 organizations in this state signed on to the campaign and it is still growing. With school back in session in September and Family Life Education Month in October, we'll be kicking up opportunities in the press and spreading the word in even more ways.

Well, now that we've changed the name of the project and the coalition, we can hopefully move forward in a productive manner. We have a web site now. Check it out! www.getthefactsny.org. You'll find all our basic materials there. We'll be expanding it over the next few months to increase content. Plus, you can sign up to get email action alerts by clicking "take action." Now we'll be traveling around the state to hold community forums over the next year to get people talking about sex and helping young people deal with it in a healthy way. I'm very excited!
